CORE CONTENT
- Identify the purpose of Australia’s Constitution

- Research and describe the work of individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Commonwealth of Australia since Federation
- Describe the origins and values underpinning Australia’s bicameral parliamentary system of government
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of 3 levels of government in Australia
STAGE 3 - Visit Us at Our House
Visit Us at Our House is a FREE interactive live scheduled program based on the K-6 Human Society and its Environment K-6 Syllabus (2024, implementation 2027).
Years 5/6 students will learn about the development of democracy in the early colony of NSW, the three levels of government and how our parliamentary system of government works to make laws for NSW.
